A Farewell to #TEPPEN. My favourite TCG from the last half decade. No game made me more rage and joy more than TEPPEN did. I'll miss the ranked mode, hell I'll even miss Point Match. But I had fun, and that's what matters.

Flavor Text: Thousands of years ago, the continent was destroyed and the super-civilization was lost. Some fled to space to escape ruin, where they developed the Cyberworld, and built a unique civilization of their own: Den City. ...Now the doom of Den City is at hand. A countdown marking each second until the end appeared throughout the city. A city encased inside of a large dome floating outside of Earth's orbit. A gigantic time displaying 00:30:00 in red has appeared on the city, and a space-station like part near the top of the domed city appears to be lit aflame, making the entire space-colony resemble a bomb, the fuse lit. In context of this card pack, this is the start of the story, where Shadaloo (the terrorist organization of the Street Fighter series) has set a bomb to destroy the entire city. The concept of a story revolving around Shadaloo terrorizing the earth with a moon/satellite based location is likely meant to evoke Street Fighter V's cinematic story mode "A Shadow Falls", and their plan known as Operation C.H.A.I.N.S. This is meant to be the TEPPEN universe’s interpretation of Den City, the main setting of several Mega Man Battle Network games, the hometown of protagonists Lan & MegaMan.EXE. In TEPPEN, things are altered quite drastically. The Mega Man X series took place thousands of years in the past from the current timeline, in an ancient advanced civilization. Mysteriously, all the robots of that civilization vanished or shut down. The humans of that civilization fled into space (likely in a reference to the plot of Mega Man X8 and the “Jakob Project”, a plan to migrate humans to outer space to escape the ongoing Maverick wars). The TEPPEN version of Mega Man’s timeline goes: Classic (even further in the past) -> X (thousands of years in the past) -> Battle Network (present day) The Mega Man Zero games are occuring concurrently on an alternate version of Earth based on EDN-3rd from the Lost Planet series. Legends’ placement is unknown.

Flavor Text, spoken by Will: I heard it about it from Butz before the incident. He said he'd found three "special guests" to be the baddies in the Steel Samurai special show. I don't know what he meant, but...whatever he meant, it can't be good. From left to right, a frozen shack, a wooden shack, and a gigantic cage. These are where Sasquatch (Darkstalkers), the Anteka (Monster Hunter), and Brachydios (Monster Hunter) were resting in the park before the stage show on July 1st. As mentioned by Will in the flavor text, Larry was put in charge of the show to find opponents, placing them in a secluded part of the park in secret thanks to the daytime security guard at the time, Dan Hibiki (Street Fighter).

Flavor Text: A rough sketch of Central Park on the day of the incident. It seems that until the start of the ceremony, the main and rear gates were both locked down tight. A sketch of Central Park from above. Key areas include - a large cordoned off-section with a footprint - Two buildings and a cage off to the right - The main statue area and show stage - And the security building to the south This sketch is likely meant to reference a common evidence type in the Ace Attorney series, an overhead map of the area Nick and Maya are investigating. A similar one can be found in Case 1-3, Turnabout Samurai, which this card pack heavily pulls inspiration from. In context of this card pack, Nick probably received this from either Gumshoe or Lucia.

Flavor Text: All the missing pages had been returned to the diary. But the nightmare didn't end. It only grew. A surge of darkness burst from the diary's pages, trying to pull her in. "You'll never get out of here!" Sherry Birkin (Resident Evil) holding the diary that pulled her into this nightmare, now beginning to pull her even deeper, as shadowy hands reach out from the book and begin to drag her in. The 'D' on the front of the book is glowing an ominous red color. Angie the Doll, who originally claimed that finding the pages would be her escape, mocks her as she floats in the background. In context of this card pack, this is the last scene before the supplementary cards were added, showing that even if Sherry completed her goal, she was doomed from the start. The shadowy hands reaching out from the book bear a striking resemblance to the shadow hands used by Oichi (Sengoku BASARA), but it's unknown if this is a coincidence or not.

Flavor Text: Augst # dark you YOU The 4th and final chronological page missing from the diary, depicting the original owner's completed descent into madness, corrupted by the diary, with even the flavor text having been corrupted. The card's art makes it look as though the little girl is ripping its way off of the page itself, with the shadowy hands of the diary reaching out towards the viewer. Each hand has an eye at the end, meant to look like the "D" emblazoned on the front of the diary. This little girl remains as one of, if not the only, original characters made for TEPPEN… unless it’s someone so obscure I’ve simply failed to recognize in my research.
Flavor Text: August 3. Clear skies. I got a present from Mom and Dad today. A cute little diary! I'd better draw everything that happens. I love you, Mom and Dad! The chronological 1st page within the titular Daymare Diary. It's a drawing of a little girl, her parents, and their cat. The little girl is holding the diary above her head. This little girl's family is one of the only times TEPPEN has ever invented a character… seemingly, anyways. This could be someone so obscure we just haven't discovered who it is yet. As shown in later cards, as well as the card pack in general, that diary is cursed/haunted, slowly corrupting the little girl.

Flavor Text: August 15. Cloudy I always think about this diary. If I stop drawing, the scary things will get mad. They'll make me have nightmares again. I don't want it. Please, go away! Get out of my head! Help! The chronological 2nd page in the diary. It depicts the girl being devoured by the book, which now has bloody teeth, the "D" emblem on the front now resembling two evil looking eyes. The diary was originally given to her by her parents, seemingly unaware of the paranormal and evil nature of the book.
Flavor Text, written by the Diary's original owner: AUG 24 - RAIN FRIENDS FRIENDS WE'RE ALL FRIENDS PLAY PLAY COME PLAY I'LL NEVER LET YOU GO NEVER LET YOU GO NEVERLETYOUGONEVERLETYOUGO NEVERLETYOUGO The chronological 3rd page in the diary. It depicts the girl on her knees, with large shadowy hands emerging from her back, as the "D" symbol that was on the front of the diary appears behind her, now resembling an eye. Shredded and torn pages are scattered around her. The Diary seems to be draining her of her sanity, as her words have grown more and more erratic and desperate.
