The Bean is a giant sculpture in the shape of a navy bean. Its official name is Cloud Gate because it reflects its surroundings, such as sky, skyline, people, as it is a silvery mirror. The view is from the other side of a low cement pedestal fence. The Bean is framed by leaves from trees. The chicago skyline and sky are reflected in The Bean.
