just recently watched The Long Walk and i can't stop thinking about how well it was filmed. the dialogue, acting, gore, themes, etc were just so beautiful and i haven't cried this hard at a movie since I Saw The TV Glow #TheLongWalk

The Long Walk is one of the single GREATEST movies I have seen in a LONG TIME and if it doesn't DIRECTLY REPRESENT what it is to live in the United States, I don't know what will. I have never so openly sobbed watching a film!

I first read this as a kid and reread it after watching the movie. This book stuck with me through the years, especially the line "make it lead lined."
An intense, but short, read. The movie did it justice, David Jonsson was amazing in it.
