Sort of weird to see Suozzi on the list. Isn't Golden retiring?
They're probably afraid of retaliation by Trump and want to stay in office. Why they're taking a stand on this specific legislation, who knows? If their states had #openprimaries they might act differently.

Recently, we were chatting about voting. My 2 deepest held beliefs? First, voting is important, esp in primaries. Did you know 87% of U.S. House seats are safe? #theprimaryproblem Second, local elections matter. The 3 most important races? Sheriff. Secretary of State. Judge. #localelectionsmatter
One of the scariest aspects of this is that folks will still say (and believe) that voting doesn't matter. Only 7% of voters put nearly 87% of these ppl in these House seats! The #biguglybill: brought to America by low voter turnout. #theprimaryproblem
