Id love to show someone without sight, let them rifle through the pages, feel the butter soft book covers, run their fingers over the smooth stone figures, hear the crinkle of the parchment rolls.
A new delivery to the archeology office. This, from Ghana, is an Akuaba fertility figure. I'm not entirely sure yet where she fits into the story, but I think she's great. She is made out of ebony, naturally, from part of a 1920s dressing table set. #smallworlds #tinymuseum #miniatures
