βHey all, serious note. Be safe out there.β βWhatβs going on?β βICE is on campus right now.β We got a text in our architecture school that ICE had been on campus for about a week.
Itβs scary seeing this violence being pushed as normal - as if Iβm supposed to go on with school without thinking of another person unfairly arrested, kidnapped or shot.
Itβs scary having family supporting what ICE has been doing as βthe right thing to doβ - knowing that most of them were immigrants in a time where assimilation was the expectation.
Everything right now is scary, but I had to do something like put up zones for people to find some certainty in how to defend against ICE. Later that week, most of the zines were gone. I hope no one threw them away.
