Happy #FossilFriday! The tiny bones inside this partial egg (#MOR246) belong to an embryonic #dinosaur. Originally identified as #Orodromeus, later study identified them as #Troodon bones. Orodromeus & Troodon are found in the #Cretaceous Two Medicine Formation of #Montana.
"Sunrays": Spring is now just around the corner, and it's been rather good for our mental health. I guess we've been wanting to express that.

A nice a tall Dilophosaurs in the back with its tail curled around and A little Troodon speeding by. Art in pencil The dilophosaurus has its frills up in prep to attack, his mouth is open as well. He has a jagged line across them in a darker color. The frills are a bit rough and jagged as well. He has little back spines that go down to the tail. There’s three Dino freckles on his face and more down his back and thigh. He has a small scare on his snout, thigh and an upside down Y on his back. Taxi is a small troodon with feathers only on the arms and three claw marks right past the leg. They has a promenade dived between belly and body. Unlike my other Dino’s his eye is a blank circle and he has a darker circle eye brow. He looks as if he’s just started to break out into a run

For #FossilFriday we recently imaged a bunch of microfossils with a Keyence microscope at @univmiami.bsky.social, & this #Troodon tooth was one of my favorites! Their teeth are something...but under such high mag, they really are wicked, and "wounding tooth" is certainly an appropriate name!
