Watch this. These kinds of parallels do wonders for your ability to seed strange new things. Like in Zelazny’s Amber, every fantasy world is only an echo of reality -- sometimes near, sometimes distant.

In the four worlds that make up the setting of "of Cogs and Monsters" only one has/is an ocean.

That world is currently called Thalassion, which evokes "sea" using kludgy greek roots.

I'm considering naming it Oceanne, which might be a bit on the nose..like Earth.
