INDUSTRY (Max)
With Max launching in Australia, we've discovered older shows which were buried on Binge (the streaming service which had rights to HBO content in this country). We knew all their popular productions but others were lost in the mix of wider content.

One of those was Industry, a show set on the trading floor of the London branch of a major international bank. Four seasons are available.

The initial series has an impersonal feel which makes a plot twist in the first episode much more real in context. Young graduates join the floor where older employees are bitter they were never promoted.

The new recruits include Harper who is seriously narcissistic with an inflated sense of her talents. Yasmin is 'to the manor born' and very insecure within herself. Robert is working class and tries to get by doing as little as possible. And Gus keeps self sabotaging his career.

All consume a lot of cocaine, navigate relationships, navigate sex, and navigate their toxic working environment.

The third season is my favourite as it dispenses a lot of financial industry jargon for main character story arcs. It feels like a final season.

Then the fourth series comes along with two new co-producers, one being the BBC, and it feels a bit 'too many cooks.' While the performances are still strong, the plot lines go all over the place, and some storylines seem far-fetched.

Regardless, we were hooked. But this show won't be for everyone.

Watch Fallout Season 1 – Prime Video Based on one of the greatest video games of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them above.

! app.primevideo.com/detail?gti=a...

Fallout season 2 is yet again a great adaption and continuation of the story. And it ended with cliffhanger.

Rating: 90% Vibez

Elsbeth Season 3 Episode 12 Review: Murder, Molten-Gold Hair, and the Rise of the Big Wigs Hair Business Literally LucrativeFeeling the best you’ve ever felt when you look in the mirror can sometimes be achieved with a wig. If you haven’t guessed already, hair is the theme of this episode. ...

Elsbeth dives into NYC’s secret wig world where $30K hairstyles spark murder. A turf war, rare “molten-gold” hair, and a killer hiding in plain sight. My review of S3E12 “All’s Hair.”

It is a fun watch but it isn't too exciting or a thrilling ride. Could have been a shorter season or just more to it. But still, entertaining. Endlessly horny in their head writers are just that crazy.

The Death of Bunny Munro is a dark and tragic show that—despite my personal taste—I'd recommend purely for how it uses style and aesthetics to tell an emotionally moving story.
