This location is also close to Union Station, where trains originate for travel to Champaign.

I'm not sure I buy this. The #BigTen #public flagships compete against each other for students, so yeah, maybe then sports plays a role. #Michigan, #Wisconsin, #UIUC all equally strong academically, sports provides extra boost. But UNC at least used to be only strong public flagship in mid-South
