The Royal Hotel, #Ullapool after it was gutted by fire on this day in 1960. The blaze was discovered at around 2am; the 6 people inside all escaped unharmed. The cause of the fire was a discarded cigarette. The hotel had to be rebuilt and didn't reopen until 1965
