In my interactions and conversations with @briansking19.bsky.social, @merrill4utah.bsky.social, and others in the state EC, I have only noticed respect of and acceptance of the community. I hope this is a trend that continues and our focus will be on the things that win elections.

I’ve seen plenty of people in #utdem that aren’t supportive of LGBT rights. Party affiliation does not support LGBT rights.

It reminds me of the time someone came into town to work on a campaign (pro vouchers, maybe) and posted a picture of the “Mormon Temple.” Which looked a lot like the City/County Building.

Hey #utah folks - HB412 is worth paying attention to.

It takes away the requirement for state boards and commissions to have political party balance.

The bill is currently in the Senate.
