I think the biggest way I related to Misha's show wasn't the lack of safety & homelessness in New England which same buddy & hello food scarcity my old friend. It was being instilled you must save the world & what a fucking weight that can be. It's taken me decades to be "selfish". #spncon #vancon

Misha's show was a bit like Nanette in structure but not as raw as Hannah Gadsby & more personal narrative than truths about society. I would like to see it with a non fandom audience like at a Fringe festivals. To me it was a feel good show & reflected his publicly shared beliefs. #spncon #vancon

I don't always understand the parasocial feelings fans have but I can feel compersion for their joy & compassion when they perhaps go a bit far. Another was celebrating a fan taking her citizenship oath tomorrow but really every personal story I heard made me understand a different part of the fandom. The fan who was at their 30th con & the fan who watch it in India as child & never thought they would ever get to go to a con. #Vancon #spnvan
