The Wigle.net statistics page shows a new milestone - more than 8 million files parsed!
Looked away from the @wiglenet.bsky.social stats for a minute and the total files parsed count jumped from 7,999,909 to 8,000,156!
That’s a LOT of files. I appear to have contributed some 20,000 of them since 2004.

The Wigle.net Statstics chart shows many interesting values, including 5+ Billion unique Bluetooth devices and closing fast on 8 million files parsed.
Noticed a few interesting @wiglenet.bsky.social stats:
- just crossed the 5 Billion unique Bluetooth device count. I know that number is a bit sus, but yowza!
- closing fast on 8 million files parsed. That’s #allTheWifi but more keeps showing up

Working on what I thought was a code issue, I had forgotten ESP32 basic units only support 2.4GHz!
Why can’t I connect to my other hotspot? Because it’s 5GHz, dummy!
Change the iPhone hotspot config to “Maximize Compatibility” (2.4GHz only) and magic happens!
