I did a similar mod on my Casio DW-291H, converting it to a negative display, but have since reversed it back to positive. The Casio "Royale" AE-1200 is an outstanding watch on its own (I have two, one in an SKXMOD case), but little mods like this are super fun and inexpensive. #watchmods #casio

My SKX-style watch modification project, now with a 60-minute sloping ceramic insert, orange hands, and NH36 movement (day and date).
My SKX-style watch project, with a 24hr sloping ceramic GMT-style bezel insert, and the 60min sloping ceramic insert that I am going to swap it out for.
The 24hr GMT bezel insert looks good but has zero functionality on a 3-hander (unless you want to be dividing by 2 etc) - then I remembered I had a sloping ceramic insert for an SKX in my "box o' watch stuff". Bezel off, inserts swapped, still looks great and now I can use it as a timer.

New #automaticwatch came in yesterday! It's a #bronze case Steeldive #divewatch with a Japanese NH35A automatic #mechanical movement and a uni-directional 120 click bezel. I can't wait to see the patina come in on this beauty.
