Splash here says RC2 but this is actually RC3. Feels ready for official stable. Pending producing graphics lessons using Gimp proven the right step; v2.10 will be skipped.

Although it comes in Flatpak & the prospect of it overriding the existing #Gimp v2.10's workspace settings prohibits us from giving it a run atm. Can't wait for stable release. If you're on Win/Mac, go for it.

Workspace of MyPaint software run on Linux, with a demo of a comics interior page in progress. Brush tip & size can be saved as "favorite" to be summoned for performing specific tasks, e.g. we want the same stroke width (and even color) for the comics panel frame.
Did a quick investigation on whether #MyPaint can be used for #comics #art & how it fares on technical aspects e.g. deploying panel frames, export settings etc.
This at one point needs to be in the curriculum👍
