Book 48 of 2026: #Poetry #ARC from @autumnhouse.org - Self-Portrait as the “i” in Florida by P. Scott Cunningham. A very down to earth and relatable collection. Mostly but not all autobiographical poems, many about very specific places 1/

Between #100SmallPress ARCs and @stanchion.bsky.social book club I got four new books in the mail over the past week.
Spouse (in jest, to our child), shaking his head: “too many books! What are we going to do with her?”
Child: “mommy can own a bookstore and work there!”
😁😁😁😁
Something I’m loving about this @lithub.com #100SmallPress project — I’ve requested ARCs and then been offered more! By other publicists at the same firm, by editors at a press who also are publishing their own books at another press… SO MUCH FUN. There is a VAST small press #poetry world out there.
Two paperback books on a bed. 1. Love you, miss you, goodbye forever: stories — by Timothy Boudreau 2. Convergence: Poems on Environmental Impacts of War — edited by Anne Coray, J.C. Todd, and Teresa Mei Chuc

Book 38 of 2026: I, bird by Roisin Ni Neachtain, from @brokensleepbooks.bsky.social I was expecting #poetry but it’s actually a hybrid poetry-prose collection, some pieces written in both forms. A beautiful meditation mostly on grief. The opening piece is my favorite. #BookSky #100SmallPress
subjects (well!) that I’ve never seen written about by a man. I am in awe. Couldn’t bring myself to start a new book for days bc my brain is still absorbing. #BookSky #Poetry #100SmallPress

Book 36 of 2026 - say, said by Fred Dale from @driftwoodpress.bsky.social (thank you for the review copy!). This is the kind of book that I don’t even know what to say about except go read it bc it’s amazing. I want to write like that. I flagged at least half the #BookSky #Poetry #100SmallPress
This #poetry book I’m reading has some gorgeous and thought-provoking lines. More than some. A lot. #100SmallPress
There are some gorgeous and creative uses of language which intrigue me as a writer. The pieces themselves tho are a little long and far-reaching for my personal taste but if you like long poems you’ll love it! #BookSky #100SmallPress #Poetry
Book 33 of 2026: In the Way of Things by Nicholas Skaldetvind. #Poetry ARC from Fernwood Press for #100SmallPress project. Perfectly titled collection for what the poems do, which is meditate upon the way things are. It feels like a very personal journey. #BookSky

I love a good #BookList, and I’m part of the LitHub #100SmallPress project this year — so, I’m not anti book lists AT ALL. Still, I miss in-depth book discussions and I found this interesting (tho a bit long) #BookSky

@robinvanille.bsky.social hello! For #100smallpress: Is there a way for authors to share or submit their eligible work?
Starting to get responses for those #poetry #ARC requests! Squee!! #100SmallPress
Hi! Would it be possible for me to get an ARC of the book? I’m reading #poetry books in consideration of the LitHub #100SmallPress project and I’d love to read and consider yours! Should I reach out directly to @querenciapress.bsky.social ?
Sent out a few more this morning. If you are an author or small press with a poetry book coming out, reach out!
Reply here, DM me, send me an email (in comments in the quoted post) — if providing an ARC isn’t possible I might just make a purchase or two! #100SmallPress
Congratulations!
@martinadalton.bsky.social @thegallerypress.bsky.social I am a poetry reviewer for the 2026 LitHub #100SmallPress project and I’d love to read an ARC of your book to consider for the project. Is there a good way to contact Martina or your editor/press to discuss? Thanks!
Sending out ARC requests for #poetry books published by small presses in 2026 in my role as reviewer for LitHub’s 2026 #100SmallPress project.

Book cover for Mother, Daughter, Augur by Mary Simmons (June Road Press): In the spirit of a Victorian naturalist’s collection, this book brings together found elements from nature, folklore, mythology, ballet, and oral tradition, crafting a strange, kaleidoscopic beauty and complicating inherited definitions of femininity. As these poems blur dichotomies—maiden and witch, mother and daughter, friend and lover—they reach for a new vision of womanhood beyond the bounds of roles and expectations, one that is mystical, ethereal, a little dangerous, and inherently queer. https://www.juneroadpress.com/mother-daughter-augur
Book cover for Letters From an Imaginary Country by Theodora Goss (Tachyon Publications): Science fiction/fantasy short story collection featured in 100 Notable Small Press Books of 2025 (https://lithub.com/100-notable-small-press-books-of-2025/): "Imaginary countries, begun as school projects, come to life. Vampires aren’t evil and the women they supposedly stalked no victims. An immigrant meets the version of herself who never left home… lyrical stories from the past fifteen years, ones that turn Victorian fantasy on its head and make you wonder what the present is actually about…" https://tachyonpublications.com/product/letters-from-an-imaginary-country/

We're doing it again! I'm reading creative nonfiction (essays/memoir) again this year, and would love to hear about any titles being published by a small press in 2026 that you think should be considered. #100smallpress
In 2026, I'll be reading for the 100 Notable Small Press Books project. This year I'm reading exclusively short story collections, so if you know of any coming out soon let me know. I already have a bunch on my radar, but I'm hungry for more.
