Yasmin Khan (Madip Gill) and the 13th Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) are discussing the plot of the episode (namely, the Pting eating everything on the ship) and they are interrupted by a loud, suspiciously wet sounding explosion. Yas questions what the sound was, and the Doctor breaks the 4th wall, looking towards the camera, and surmises that the sound was probably the exploding heads of the audience members who couldn't cope with some of the elements of the story's plot.

If i had a dollar for every Doctor Who episode that had a four letter, one word title where the first three letters were "ROS" then I'd have two dollars. Which isn't a lot, but it's funny that it's happened twice. That's basically the basis of this spoof. It shows Producer Chris Chibnall in the center of the image with 13th Doctor Jodie Whittaker and her companions Ryan Sinclair (Tosin Cole), Yaz Khan (Mandip Gill) and Graham O'Brien (Bradley Walsh). Chibnall is saying to former Producer Russell T Davies (over on the left, with 9th Doctor Christopher Eccleston and Rose Tyer (Billie Piper) that they have arrived on the set of "Rosa" not "Rose" Meanwhile (over on the right) another unnamed future Producer and the 22nd Doctor have arrived, thinking they were going to be filming an episode called "Rosō" (about Rosō Fukuhara). Off screen, the Producer of 19th Doctor story "Rosi" calls out that they are there as well. All the Producers are brandishing the scripts for their stories.

A cartoon of the 13th Doctor (as played by Jodie Whittaker), and her friends Ryan Sinclair (Tosin Cole), Graham O'Brien (Bradley Walsh) and Yasmin "Yaz" Khan (Mandip Gill) floating in space as they were at the beginning of the episode "The Ghost Monument", just as the two space ships warp in to view. The Doctor is reading about the probability of being rescued from a copy of a digital book called "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" that she has found on one of two frozen bodies floating nearby. The bodies are those of Ford Prefect and Arthur Dent (with the likenesses of David Dixon and Simon Jones from the 1981 TV adaptation of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) who apparently *didn't* survive being ejected from the Vogon ship in this version of events 🤣👉👈. The difference in rescue probabilities mentioned by the Doctor is due to the difference between those mentioned in the book version of HHGTTG and the TV version.

There is also a small addendum to the title saying "*with apologies to YouTube's How It Should Have Started" Panel 1: the new Doctor (13th, Jodie Whittaker) falls from the TARDIS over Sheffield. Panel 2: she crashes through the roof of the train carriage witnessed by Graham O'Brien (Bradley Walsh) and the floating alien tentacle thingy. Panel 3: as Graham and Grace (Sharon Clarke) look on, the Doctor groans and reaches up one hand - which is glowing with regeneration energy. Panel 4: the Doctor quickly stands up. The fall has caused her to regenerate again, and she/he is now played by Kris Marshall (still wearing Peter Capaldi's costume). [this comment is a reference to the fact that Bradley had previously played a fictionalized version of William Hartnell in the 2013 Biopic "An Adventure in Space and Time" and also to the fact that this story takes place at a point that according to canon should be midway through the Doctor's first regeneration. *Obviously* the 1st Doctor here is not played by William Hartnell, and while David Bradley looks similar, he isn't identical... the fiction here is that his regeneration HAS begun and his face has changed from Hartnell to Bradley. Once the regeneration continues, no one will ever know his face temporarily changed.]
