14/3/26 #DoctorWho rewatch Carnival of Monsters Episodes One - Three.
Another 1981 BBC2 repeat, not typical of the Pertwee era but it's so good, Robert Holmes is at his best and being meta too. Probably the best of Barry Letts director credits for Pertwee and the visuals are excellent.

I saw @matthewkilburn.bsky.social Instagram post about #DoctorWho announcement on the BBC news at 6 yesterday.
I wonder how it must look to fans outside the UK that such news is not only an item but big enough for the main evening news and they dig a Dalek out as well. This show is just 🤯 sometimes.

13/3/26 #DoctorWho rewatch The Three Doctors Episodes Two - Four.
I first saw this in 1981's BBC2 repeat, I still love it. Troughton in colour, Hartnell giving one final performance, the focus on regulars. Yes its cosy but Who will change again soon enough. Benton plays Troughton's foil as no Jamie.

Well, this is kinda cool. 2 missing episodes from the classic Doctor Who era have been found! The 1st & 3rd episodes of the 1965, 12-part epic, "The Daleks Master Plan" were recovered by the BBC last month. They now have six complete episodes from this classic serial. #DoctorWho
