Water abruptly changes direction after hitting the rockwall on this waterfall. A fallen tree couldn’t make the turn and is wedged across.

Hidden valley
Another short but steep hike in eastern #JasperNP, this hike takes you to a valley nestled under Roche Miette before you get to the bald up top. One ladder section is easily climbed along the way and you may see some mtn goats while you’re up there!

An extremely popular trail around Edith Lake just east of the town of Jasper, this 3.6 mile loop can be broken into any number of sections along the lake shore. On May 5th, the crowds had yet to arrive in full force.

Signs of improvement but a lot of work still needs to be done in K-Country. I'd hope all the Conservation Pass money would have been put to better use by now. #abparks #ableg @jodiabndp.bsky.social

I’m late to re-visiting Prarie Mtn since the trail was re-done. I can honestly say it’s easier than it was previously.
The summit, windy! Luckily we got out before the strong winds kicked in.
