The double falls of Silverton falls as seen from the viewing area, minor rainbow action just below the split.
The water lazily flows downstream from the unseen falls in this last flat area before the quick ascent to the main falls.
The steep quarter mile or so passes over a small washout section, but not bad.

Water abruptly changes direction after hitting the rockwall on this waterfall. A fallen tree couldn’t make the turn and is wedged across.
One of the better waterfalls beyond the main Siffleur falls, this is at the edge of the wilderness area and has another rapid out of frame below.
Elbe peak stabs its way upward while the Siffleur river flows through the canyon below.

The ladder chained to the rock face leads to a slippery section made easier by the heavy duty chains running the length of it.
A look back towards the highway shows how quickly this trail rises before entering the canyon. The Athabasca river valley sprawls below.
Hidden valley
Another short but steep hike in eastern #JasperNP, this hike takes you to a valley nestled under Roche Miette before you get to the bald up top. One ladder section is easily climbed along the way and you may see some mtn goats while you’re up there!

An extremely popular trail around Edith Lake just east of the town of Jasper, this 3.6 mile loop can be broken into any number of sections along the lake shore. On May 5th, the crowds had yet to arrive in full force.

The uppermost section of Sunwapta Falls with snow still on the shaded side of the riverbank.
The second falls, not including the large chute coming from the first. This drops around 15 ft before going into another chute.
The outflow from the uppermost waterfall rushing under the bridge above. Over time it has carved a curving path into the rock on the side with this viewpoint.
Looking downstream from this large waterfall just off the trail. When hiking, you will be afforded other angles of the falls as you continue the trail. The Catacombs Mountains can be seen in the distance.
Sunwapta Falls
Easy two mile out and back #trail located along the #icefieldsparkway. The main falls is located at the beginning of the hike and it follows along the river, revealing several more #waterfalls as you go.

I’m late to re-visiting Prarie Mtn since the trail was re-done. I can honestly say it’s easier than it was previously.
