Trump verprellt Wissenschaftler - Deutschland braucht sie dringend. Und was wir tun können, um sie hierher zu locken und den Standort Deutschland zu stärken.

Sollte Daron #Acemoglu zufälligerweise auswandern wollen, sollten wir ihm @uni-freiburg.de eine schöne Professur anbieten. Da würde ich persönlich mit dem Klingelbeutel durch die Lande ziehen, damit wir uns ihn leisten können.

Nine Notable Books I Read in 2023

Daron #Acemoglu and #SimonJohnson have won the #NobelPrize for #economics, along with #JamesRobinson. Their book, Power & Progress: Our Thousand-Year Struggle Over #Technology and Prosperity, was the most important book I read last year; I wrote about it here
