Patio de los Arrayanes of the Alhambra Palace in Granada is a courtyard surrounding a rectangular pool with the two longer sides of the courtyard edged with bright green hedges of myrtles. The photo is taken from one of the short ends over a small fountain (which is not operating) looking down the pool. The arches of the cloistered walkway at the far end are reflected in the pool.
Several protesters stand besides an inflatable Elon Musk holding up signs like NO WAR.
We had a good turnout at #TeslaTakedown #Alhambra. Thank you to all the volunteers who showed up even thought it was #HOT. 🥵 We are so grateful to have a little shade by the Tesla building.

Heute trafen sich in der #Alhambra in #Köln-#Nippes ein knappes Dutzend Leute, die in ihrer Freizeit den traditionsreichen Park pflegen und verbessern -- landschaftsgärtnern. Ich mit der Stadta Köln abgesprochen.
Das Bild zeigt den berühmten Löwenbrunnen im Hof der Löwen (Patio de los Leones) im Palast der Alhambra in Granada, Spanien. Der Brunnen besteht aus einem runden Becken, das von 12 Löwen aus Marmor umgeben ist. Diese Löwen sind eine markante Darstellung islamischer Kunst aus der Zeit der Nasriden-Dynastie. Der Hof selbst diente als zentraler Innenhof des königlichen Palastes und wurde ursprünglich als Ruhe- und Empfangsbereich genutzt. Die Architektur des Hofes symbolisiert den idealen islamischen Garten, der eine Verbindung von Natur, Wasser und Ruhe darstellt. Die Beleuchtung bei Nacht verstärkt die mystische Atmosphäre dieses historischen Ortes.
