Screenshot 1: I love the way you described sunset here Screenshot 2: this paragraph def encapsulates Pearl's personality/her desire for more, to explore. Love it. Screenshot 3: The inciting incident hooked me, so I read without commenting. I actually loved this chapter, the action part was amazing, fast paced and detailed at the same time. Screenshot 4: this sentence is gold too. I like how it shows how incongruent the MCs and their worlds are to each other
No early drafts are perfect. Your alpha readers will help you spot issues/errors and leave suggestions. Screenshot 1: The three dialogues here also start with a "Well" Screenshot 2: usually this phrase is used in reference to two people or two living things catching eyes; i don't know if it's normal to use in your experience, but i think "eyeing every familiar item" could be a good alternative or "locking her eyes on every familiar"? Screenshot 3: This line feels like you’re talking to the reader, kinda soft breaking the 4th wall Screenshot 4: reads a bit truncated. "she didn't know for how long she swam" or how much time had passed> or however
You'll often have very insightful discussions. screenshot 1: Alpha - i think what this means is that her "darkness" under her beauty makes others fearful and terrified to speak to or in front of her. but it's not as clear/a bit confusing, and silence is repeated a lot in this section. Me- I just discovered how to react to comment btw screenshot 2: Alpha - Idk Alexadre, that's a bit ugly of you but I'll accept it Me - Damn bro, how did you already zip so quickly to this chapter? Alpha - it got juicy so I was binge reading and now distractions around me screenshot 3: Alpha - Long days guarding the village from danger exhausted her sister, but it gave her a reason to use any possible moment to do what she loved the most—sleeping. 🤔 an idea Me - oooo I like that We are like one brain cell each but together we become two
