I totally agree that Xing Fei has more flexibility & range in her acting than Lin Ye (who I find a little wooden), but he’s been in some ok dramas since PYHOMS (funny acronym!), eg #AngelsFallSometimes

This one was a bit harder to think of an answer for. I'm going with the first person I thought of which was #LiLandi in #AngelsFallSometimes. Her boyfriend was so proud of her and this drama was a testament to courage, love and support. #cdrama

But Esther was great in her recent hit #LoveGameinEasternFantasy, so I think she’ll be fine. And Lin Yi was good, as you say, in #AngelsFallSometimes, and some people really enjoyed him #SmileCode (though I didn’t watch that one), so he’ll be ok too.
#LinYi & #EstherYu need to choose better scripts. He showed he has potential in #AngelsFallSometimes & her in #MyJourneyToYou. They are getting type cast & that does not bode well for career longevity.
This made me think what other modern cdramas came out in 2024 that I enjoyed.
#AngelsFallSometimes was a very good but sad watch (great acting from #LandyLi), #BestChoiceEver ought to have been called #WorstMomEver, #AsBeautifulAsYou was a bit meh…
