The year 2009 was a REALLY dark period in my life & I was in a mental dark deep...
When I started to re-play DK 64 again, which I got as a birthday present in 5th grade, it was one of the things that helped my damaged mental state to recuperate & it brought some joy back that had been turned off for awhile.
It took time of course, but you need all the time to heal, rushing the process won't help.
And two-three years later, & it took about 20 years in total, I finally beat the game!
#dk64 has a special place in my memory & heart! 💖
Also, I totally geeked out when they played the DK Rap in The Super Mario Bros. Movie! 😃🤘
