It is to be used for roll call of who is on the bus, daily, who to contact in case someone is not on the bus or needs to contact their parent / guardian / pickup person, and also as a back up, where the info on the sheet should match up with the parent / guardian or pick up person at the bus stop, so the child is in good hands, and dropped off to the right care giver! This school bus driver student roll call printable and school bus pass printable were made out of care, due to a personal experience. I help out a friend, for the past 3 years, ad hoc nanny / babysitter / bus drop off and pick up person, for this past year, walking the the child and hanging at the bus stop, then picking up her child from the bus stop, and dropping the child off at home. The first day that I helped was 3 years ago, and I never had to deal with a school bus stop since I was in high school. What happened? The child was not on the bus! My poor friend, in the middle of dealing with chemo from cancer, was frantic, calling the school, and I helped as best I could with contacting on my phone. I couldn't believe it! The child didn't leave the school and missed the bus. No one was aware at the school! Now I don't drive, because of anxieties. However, I kept my calm, and helped my friend the best I could, by calling the school myself, hoping to find someone answer, while my friend called, frantically searching for where her baby was. After calling around the school, we found her, and they got the next available bus driver to bring the child home. I asked my friend, where she allowed to contact the school on Facebook, and I said that, although I empathized that conflicts with communication due to Covid was still being dealt with since the year before, that by now, I thought that they'd have a system in place for such things that could occur, as to not upset the student and parents / caregivers. I gave them some leeway, but still, I made myself clear that I was disappointed. I know that there are school districts with teachers who have bus duty. I was shocked that we had to go through different people at school to find the child. We don't know if the school had a teacher bus duty roster, or not, though. Each student gets 2 passes, one to have on them to show, and the other to give to their parent / guardian / pickup person 1 printable is the bus pass enlarged, a pair of school bus passes, less than half letter size, top and bottom, 7 x 5 per sheet, 2 per printable, for another listing, I may bundle the coordinated school contact sheets into a zip file bundle. I can make custom designs, with custom contact areas, too. _______________ I added so many contact areas, because it is critical to know where the student is on school property, and enroute home by bus. There are too many creepy people out there in the world, and the kids need to feel safe, and know that the adults have their stuff together. This printable can be used by any school bus driver, teacher, educator, school staff, the PTA, and school board. And these school bus driver lists can be used for pre-k, kindergarten, all the way up to 12th grade. These printables can be put inside clear pouch holders, sold on Amazon, Walmart, and elsewhere online, keeping them clean. They can also be coated with a self laminating sheet on both sides, or cut up a clear, acid free sheet protector - do you know that you can sew acetate, what the sheet protector is made of? You can also turn the inner edges in and glue shut. Hole punch a corner, and use hole reinforcement tabs. On a side note, I was trying to create a fill in forms, where educators and parents could type in all the info. I used a small size font, to fit all the info in.
