Very happy to see my son, who is on the #Autisticspectrum loving his new job. In Quantum computing, as a Physics researcher. He has whiteboards with equations he has done all over them, like in a movie. I left school at 16. Very proud mum
yknow, despite what I said in my last post, for most of my life, I've actually felt as if I am on the autistic spectrum fr but I am not 100% sure....never really was. nor am I sure how I should feel about it if it turned out to be true..

Someone I know from school, & have remained in touch with has a son on the #AutisticSpectrum like I do. She’s an antivaxxer and is sending me stuff about vaccines causing Autism. She used to send Far Right racist sh*t until I told her to stop.

He was advised by #Avanti staff to travel to #Preston ( from London). Home is Carlisle. He’s stuck in Preston
I spend a lot of time changing trains at Preston when Manchester airport train gets cancelled.
How has Preston station no contingency plans 12 hrs on?
He has been unemployed a while & has lost the money he used to pay for the hostel in London, due to HR foot dragging.
He’s on the #AutisticSpectrum & to be honest he’s trying to stay upbeat about this. Keep your fingers crossed folks

I live in a different Country to my son. He is on the Autistic Spectrum. He has a MSc in Physics. Speaks 4 languages. And is currently job hunting. He left voice messages tonight where he was struggling to speak.
I rang him just now. Told him how much I loved him.

My son ( on autistic spec) rocked up with a sock attached to the Velcro on his back pack. He had travelled from Munich like this. 🤣
His response when I questioned it. Was “why don’t you have one!” He is so funny.

So, 3rd day of adventure with Mum and Dan saw us at swimming pool.
Dan had a fun panic in deep water cos I chased him, made him go under a bit cos he lost his stride. 😂
Then life guard asked us to stay in shallow end. Dan had a bit of a meltdown cos “but I can swim!!”

Maybe it's because it's never been about ego for me.
I'm proud of the number of followers I have, but more because it feels like I've earned those people's respect.
I understand that I'm also just wired different. I've long suspected I'm somewhere on the #AutisticSpectrum.
Seriously though, is it weird that I'm obsessed with someone's voice? And that I get annoyed when I see them onscreen but they don't have a speaking role so I don't get to hear their voice and I forget what it sounds like, which makes me even more obsessed? #Neurodivergent #AutisticSpectrum
