I love that #RTD consciously wrote his 1st tv Who story in conversation with #RobertHolmes's 1st two classics. But I wonder how much of the #Autons' look was deliberately indulging his love of the cartoonish and how much was having no clue on his 1st outing how the special effects would turn out.
