Spaz was true to his name and got very excited and then freaked out when it touched his face. He decided to settle for some old beetle jelly. They seem to like it better when it gets gross. 🤷‍♀️

A blue beetle, missing the first segment of front right and back right leg. Cute, as far as insects go.

When I was asked if I wanted a different beetle, on account of the two missing feet (tarsi), I said no thank you. Silver here is the only Blue Death Feigning Beetle I can tell apart from the others. #bugsky #insects #BDFB
