Join me tomorrow 19th of October at 8am for a birdwatch along the beautiful Merri Creek. We will leave from the Ceres bike shed and head North along the creek for about half an hour then back. The closest tram stop is the East Brunswick Stop 23 along the 96. If you have binoculars then bring them along but they are not essential. Songs:Seabird - Alessi BrothersKestrel - Voka GentleHawk - BroadcastSparrow - Big Thief(Sorry for the bad reel formatting)

Good day for the #backyardbirdcount today. It stopped raining and I got 46 species. This is a Carolina Chickadee.

Bubby, our resident dominant male Anna’s hummingbird perches on a lichen-dotted twig close to the center of the tree as snow falls and bedecks neighboring boughs. His shiny magenta and purple face feathers flash against the winters scene.

And don’t forget, it’s great Backyard Bird Count weekend! I know there’s at least one if these in my backyard. There’s even a tiny bit of lichen here. (Link in the comments) #BackyardBirdCount #Birds #Lichen #Hummingbirds #PNW #Nature #Photography #GoOutside #Breathe #Notice

My 20 minute lunchtime observation for today's Great Backyard Bird Count. 16 bird varieties, 62 birds. We have a few more feathered friends that decided not to participate in today's count. Maybe tomorrow.
