We partnered up with SLC to deliver an interactive session at Campaign for Better Transport's #BetterTransportConference, sharing insights from across #CommunityRail on the valuable role our rail network can play in placemaking 🚉

There are footpaths from Deganwy and it takes a steady 40-50 minute walk to the summit from the station. A much easier walk with equally stunning views is along the coastal path from Conwy Station via the Quayside and Deganwy to West Shore, Llandudno. This mainly level walk takes less than two hours and there are a few cafes on route!"

It was a pleasure to see the #CVLR on Wednesday of #BetterTransportWeek! A home-grown innovation that can make building new tram systems and extending existing ones much cheaper and quicker!
But there remain gaps in service provision to be addressed. We discussed franchising and other models available, but many local authorities will need support through the process
