The Blue Mosque under the main dome has dozens of stained glass windows on multiple levels all around the walls of the dome. There is a large chandelier that is basically a circle of lights in a ring. Other lights are suspended around the room as well. Tourists gaze up in wonder at the Ottoman architecture, large dome, windows and light. They are standing on a red carpet. An iron fence retains the tourists to specified sections of the room.
