"What if it's a cube rails game about tearing down an overly-industrialized society to create more green spaces?"

In a rare treat, I had a chance to play a game of Westward Rails with some friends today. I haven’t played this one since 2021, and it was delightful. Lots of “but that’ll just help them!” moments.

Hey, this one is going out to all the 18xx people out there. Is there a good introductory 3p 18xx game, and if so what is it? Also, if I enjoy the concept of the Operating round much more than the Stock rounds... should I just stick to Age Of Steam or Cube Rails? #18xx #ccmf

Busted out an old cube rails design, Rails Through the Highlands, to begin ideating on what makes sense. Added a rondel (in a train game!) that feels like it has some interesting spaces to explore.
Now it's time to upload this digitally and start getting some reps in! It feels fresh again.
