For the 4th time in my professional career, I'm part of Sports Information Department celebrating a conference title & an #NCAA Tournament berth as @lehmancollege.bsky.social won the #CUNYAC crown today. Milestone of 4 different teams(others-USMMA, Hunter College, LIU-Brooklyn) that reach the NCAAs.
#1000THGame: Over the course of my international media relations & operations career - spanning 6 continental zones & 3 decades - I somehow managed to work 1,000 overall U.S. collegiate games along the way. I hit that milestone today in the opener of a #CUNYAC twin-bill between Lehman - CCNY.
#DidYouKnow? Medgar Evers College men’s soccer team won 1979 #ECAC Championship after defeating hosts #FDUMadison 2:1 in the final. Under coach Lenard "Lenny" Taylor, it was the 1st championship for the Gators (now Cougars) after it finished 3rd in Division II West-Metropolitan Conference.

During my international media relations/operations career, I was also able to squeeze in 900 overall collegiate athletics games worked in that time frame, as this week I hit that number at a #CUNYAC baseball doubleheader between @lehmancollege.bsky.social - CCNY.
#OnThisDay in 2019 – Hosts @lehmancollege.bsky.social men’s tennis team, under the helm of @steve1t.bsky.social, defeated York College-NY, 7-2, at The APEX courts & w/ the victory the Lightning also secured a berth into #CUNYAC Postseason Tournament.
