more unsolicited (hopefully helpful) comments from me - It might help to group crisis lines by ones that send cops ( #CrisisTextLine #TheTrevorProject any other contractor to #988Lifeline ) and ones that don't ( #TransLifeline #CallBlackLine). This is a VERY important distinction for some.

Please donate to #TransLifeline if able. Also #CallBlackline they do NOT send unwanted interventions. Because they don't follow the mandated #988Lifeline policy to do so, they don't qualify for 988 funding. These are #SafeHotlines and struggle for lack of funds. translifeline.org/safe-hotlines/
@translifeline.bsky.social is one of few (along w #CallBlackLine) that put respect for persons first, meaning no interventions w/o consent. & no exploitation of conversations as data. Also see their #SafeHotlines resources at website. Irony, means they don't qualify for #988Lifeline US fed funding.
some of most difficult & most rewarding moments of my life. take care which org you associate with. i'd say think local first. Or #CallBlackline, & #TransLifeline w their #SafeHotlines project are two worthy organizations. they don't qualify for #988Lifeline funding so all more reasons to support.
