A white plate with an oddly shaped piece of food in the middle and what appears to be a flattened roasted marshmallow on top, but who knows? There is a wine glass with red wine and a glass of water in the image as well.

When you go somewhere too fancy for your own britches and have to smile and nod when they bring you small plates of 'food' and you have no clue what it is. 🤷‍♀️

Grandparents owned & operated a furniture store 1940’s to 1960’s that required lots of travel. My Nana collected swizzle sticks & bar ephemera. Best of the collection: “CANLIS CHARCOAL BROILER HONOLULU SEATTLE” and actual _glass_ stir sticks from Promenade Cafe & STORK CLUB NYC (1929-1965). Photo by AJ Fisher.
