Three cats lay curled up amongst heaps of blankets and sheet on top of a queen size bed. Closest to us is Beckett, a senior white cat with dark gray patches, settled into a loaf that has tilted over a bit on a folded greenish gray and tan heating pad. Her back is to us as she sleeps soundly with her butt snuggled up against the next closest cat, Smokey, a large fluffy gray cat who is looking back over his left shoulder at us. Smokey's front body is supported by a light mint green cased pillow that matches the sheet underneath him. Parts of a light silver gray blanket are peeking out of the mess, woven between them. Over a low hill of rich, velvety royal blue and white sherpa blanket, we can just make out Pancake, a little dilute calico girl cat, all curled up tight in a ball, nose to tail, on her right side, at the top left of the picture.
