Getting the forces together for my Panzer Lehr Normandy campaign.
The Germans are done, and so it's onto the Brits.
First section painted, consisting of a rifle team and a bren team plus a junior leader.
PSC 15mm figures in plastic.

Painted some 15mm Panzer Lehr for the latest Lardy PSC.
3 Sections each including 2 teams of 4 men with an MG42 and a JL.
Two SL's and 2 Panzershreck teams (just in case I need them).

Couple of support options for my DAK/Sicily units, in the shape of a PAK36 and a PAK38.
Perry metals and plastics with a plastic PAK36 from Rubicon, and a 3d printed PAK38.
I try to avoid metal guns if possible, they're a PITA to put together.

Finished last night, 15mm platoon of King's African Rifles for #Chainofcommand2 along with a FOO and support MMG. Figures mostly from Battlefront, but also includes some Peter Pig and Eureka. #spreadthelard
Anyscale, Ironclad, Warbases and some Bad Squiddo figures for good measure. Jump off points, replen points, scatter terrain/objective markers and the last (probably) addition to my rural garage/petrol station. #ChainOfCommand2
The Japanese Landings at Mauban, December 1941. A strong attack by the Japanese saw the Philippino soldiers outflanked and swiftly defeated as the fighting continues beyond the beaches. Another cracking game of Chain of Command 2. #spreadthelard #chainofcommand2

Truck and miniatures are crisply moulded, with neither mould lines nor printing support to remove. Undoubtedly it will be knocked out before my chaps can even think about assault deployment....but such is the way with a new unit or vehicle! #SpreadTheLard #TooFatLardies #ChainOfCommand2
A burnt out German convoy in the desert is the the theatre for our game.
A Crusader tank flanks a German section defending a desert wadi, taking it with MG fire!
With the German supporting sections under suppressing fire or blinded by smoke, the New Zealand infantry advance!
The victorious Dominion troops hold the objective and the key wadi!
Played my first game of #ChainOfCommand2 last night. Excellent! A great evolution of the (brilliant) first version. Finally got around to painting and flocking my new set of Chain of Command tokens. Once I’ve varnished them they will be ready for the game table.
Started my first proper playthrough of #chainofcommand2 with my son last night. A “Swift to Support” scenario from the 1940 book. The boy’s VBs made short work of my gun, but it’s starting to get tense! So great to finally see the new edition across the finish line! #spreadthelard More to come!

That was a some introduction to #ChainofCommand2. A German Pioneer assault on French fortifications in May 1940. Made bit of a pig’s ear of the first game, the Germans advanced up the flank in to the village in the first round. Putting pressure on poorly placed objectives markers. #spreadthelard.
