My visit to the air raid shelter on Diglis Island yesterday threw up some extra questions. 1. Is the build style of precast concrete sections bolted together the usual construction ? 2. It's 15 sections each side which I assume is space for up to 30 people. Is that correct ? 3. Most of the sections have similar "Graffiti".on them. Is this period or later ? 4. While talking with my escort, I suggested that the skylight visible in the last photo was a modern thing. Yes ?
