Had a great - albeit short - #histgym session today. A couple of little life details make all the difference: 1. My teaching schedule works perfectly with my #dialysis. Cheers to my principal. 2. My dialysis starts 45mn later, giving me more time to exist. #Amreading about #CharlesII & #Restoration
He did! He gets little credit for the fact Parliament invited him to rule after the Cromwellian & republican era, but they didn't have to choose #CharlesII.
If he'd developed differently, they may not have invited him.
And they knew he was, as you say, a little dodgy.
