The dark areas are mostly reservoirs, wetlands and parks, and the airport a;most in the centre of the city.

Some roads and settlements outside the city are visible. The lights in the city are predominantly orange by colour. Tamale is in northern Ghana.

The lights in the city are predominantly white. On the coast a very bright spot is visible. This is the Meridian Port Services Terminal 3.

In the centre of the image a bright spot is visible. This is the LomΓ© harbour. A number of vessels can be seen at sea near the harbour as bright small spots. North of the city another bright spot is visible. This the Dalave industrial area.
