Page fifty. Hayden: especially if they are all innocent: podcast cancelled, all of us in jail Pete: Maybe they'll let us fill some toilet wine tastings and D.I.Y. real doll builds. Andre: speaking of fake-innocent "the quiet one" over there Rhys: "I don't know what these guys are talking about your honor, I was never on that bus, they just e-msiled me the raw footage to edit" Andre: "Nah, nah, judge it was all Rhys's idea. He brought all the stuff, we didn't even know what any of it was, that was all Rhys." Hayden: For real though in between burnout ski instructor land and Sodom and Gommorah I could use a break, like maybe margaritas at Red Iguana and that it. Meanwhile Kalkan sits on his bed looking intently at his phone
Page fifty one Kallan texting on his device Kallan: Hey Olen how've you been doing? Olen: I'm OK Kallan:so what've you been up to here lately? Kallan receives no response as he waits, gets up, comes back and looks on his device again. "OK" he thinks. He looks at videos online the thumbnails are not visible in panel but "streamed 6 course ago", "upcoming", and "steamed one day ago" they say. He gets up and walk outside.
Page fifty-two Kallan looks to the sky and takes a picture of something with his device. Meanwhile Javion and an unnamed interviewer with wavy hair pulled back in a ponytail and a microphone clipped to their t-shirt stand in his studio. Interviewer:We're here with Javion Pickett, why don't we start with you telling us a little about what you do? Javion: I create art installations; indoor, outdoor, sometimes whole environments that can involve, audio, video, optics, lighting and just whatever it ends up needing. Interviewer: OK wow, could you talk a bit about the themes of your work and how the audience or the public factor into that? Javion: Uh, yeah, I don't always get to know what people's reaction to my stuff I but recently I kinda had some, uh, sone little birds out there and they told me people were having sone interesting responses. Interviewer: Oh, yeah? Javion: Yeah, I heard some people were crying and fighting, others would kiss right after the big flash woukd go off. Right over here Javion turns toward something in the room.
Page fifty-three Javion: See, I just got this gem from a resale shop. It's not from under the pyramids or anything. But it did remind me of...let me think how much of this story I should tell...there was this girl I was talking to and the instant I realized I was I deep it was like "pow" like a glitch in the Matrix. I won't go into what happened between us but what if that moment's not bullshit and delusion what if everything else is and sometimes we accidentally get a peak behind the curtains see the truth of people? Even if it fades that's got to mean something right? But yeah, long story short, I don't know. Maybe thinking about stuff like that subconsciously seeps into the work and affects people, I really don't know. There's a panel of a woman in a snuggly on her couch watching the interview on TV. Hayden and Andre are in a two bed hotel room with Rhys and Pete presumably in another. The lights are off and they're each in bed, Hayden is on his phone. Hayden: We're in the hotel now. We'll be back I town all tomorrow then we'll come home. Andre: Hayden...come to back to bed...we miss you. He says in falsetto. Hayde listens to his phone for a second and after a beat he says bemused "that's Andre doing a voice" and points the device front camera at andre.

Rough comix page excerpt page one of two. Hayden: You gonna miss me? Her: Yeah...what time are you leaving? Hayden: That night, we're meeting up at seven. Her: Do you want to do something together that morning? Hayden: Yeah, sure. Doctor Wode dreams of the necklace chaning hands to the woman from the start of the comic, from a statue of an angel, from a bearded white man in a polo shirt and khakis on a plane, from an aboriginal young man in blue jeans, from an old time Chinese merchant in an office, from an Ethiopian merchant in a shop, from a Khoikhoi man, from a West African merchant in a market.
Rough comix excerpt page two of two: Doctor Wode continues to dream of the necklace changing hands in reverse to a Amazigh merchant, to a man in a toga and seashell crown, to a dark figure in shadow. A being with a mask like winged face and three or more visible wings hands a round jewel to a character wearing a simple mantilla and a tight full body covering resembling an anime girl or 90's Batman cartoon femme with two dark holes through which two white circle eyes can be seen. Inside a stone or mud brick thatch roof house the character turns to a man huddled between an older and younger woman and says "give back my coat" The man replies "fine" and tells the older woman "it's in the chest go get it". The character tells the younger woman "you there, help me" in the next panel the two white circle eyes and necklace are visible beneath the dark hood of a hand made coat, the tight covering now falls away in tatters and the character walks past a rosebush, along a beach, toward mountains, in the rain and snow. The older woman turns to the fourth wall and says "I guess you think that's pretty funny "doctor", but are you it's daughter...or ours?" as the Hag gang/cult's characteristic face tattoos appear on her face

New scene guy one: We need somewhere to shoot like an intro or just footage of you around the city. Guy two: yeah B roll. Guy one: no that's um, that still not what B roll is. Guy three drops a little stress ball on his face: why don't we - oop - um just like talk to the locals when we get there and find the real cool stuff not all the touristy stuff? Guy one: I mean...I see what you're saying and maybe we'll find something like that, great, but let's have a plan to fall back on so we're not just wandering around getting off schedule. Hayden Bowers: eh...do we really need to though?

Scene two, Doctor Wode sits smoking something in front of her trailer in the woods:"Drop it in the bucket Gunnr. Alright...'dismissed'".

Ave Lamia, who shall find rest for herself in Zion, Blessed Be Madam Koi Koi, Poludnica the Noonday Demon, Ol' Higue, and LA Llorona. Praises to Iara D'Agua, Kuchisake-Onna, and go the high priestess of King's Park." Next scene, a man sits in the dark clicking a bright light on and off from an unseen source in front of him.

I’ve been getting into a prose style interview style and loving it. It helps keep the read lean, but add color and make the folks being interviewed concise. Good stuff!
