People of color are no longer safe in Alabama cities: op-ed This is not public safety. This is intimidation — state-sanctioned terrorism.

When leaders stay silent, families of color live in fear. #Communitiesofcolor are being pushed out of everyday life, their freedom replaced by silence and anxiety. #Alabama deserves leaders who protect all of us — not just some of us.

The opposite of disinfo isn’t just fact-checking.
It’s trust.
And trust is built—not downloaded.

Let’s talk about what real disinfo defense looks like

Next up: what makes disinfo stick?

Let’s talk about trust gaps—and why lies often feel more real than the truth.

Structural failures. Foreign interference. Two playbooks—one target.

Disinformation doesn’t always come from the same place.
But it often lands on the same people.

As a lifelong #QualityOfLife advocate in Boston, I pride myself on being ahead of the curve and truly understanding the impact of these issues on marginalized communities.

That's where I differ from the Nativist print press and local TV media—they only show up for big conversations after the fact. I call it yellow tape journalism. But I have these conversations years before, as I know the disproportionate impact they have on MY #CommunitiesOfColor. Just like the presidential election, I predict the next mayoral election will have some surprises.

Just to be clear, I'm not against bike lanes, but using Black & brown communities as guinea pigs for far-white pet projects is unacceptable. One size doesn't fit all, and many of these projects often don't belong where they are placed in communities of color.

#VotersOfColor are not happy and have become anti-bike lane because of it. It could've been AVOIDED if @MayorWu admin truly valued listening to #PeopleOfColor over propping up jimmy-sock-puppets to gaslight them. Let's keep an eye on this one, because there may be a price to pay for ignoring POC, especially where they reside and raise families.
