So... Microsoft is pressuring me to upgrade my laptop from Win10 to Win11. Up until now, I've held off from doing so because I like my rig the way it is and I don't want to run the risk of screwing something up.

I'm going to recycle my Dell Win10 laptop. I know deleting files is not enough, I need to overwrite disk. Is there a reason to wipe whole disk, including operating system? Or is wiping files enough? Thank you!

A Kenbak-1 machine owned by Paul Allen of Microsoft sold today at auction for close to $120,000.
