I’ve had sneaky, small flashbacks here and there this week. In my #TraumaRecocery, it helps to figure out where they began, which can help lessen them, along with an additional #copingskill like writing or breathwork. These ones were from a transition to bi-weekly therapy and a memoir I read. Bingo!
But damn, if this book didn’t make me itch to look up my r*pists to see where they’re at now, because it DOES make me feel safe to know even though it isn’t the best coping skill out there. It’s a gray area #copingskill. I haven’t looked any of them up for … 8-10 months or so?

Picturing a push-broom sweeping away the “clutter-thoughts” from my frontal lobes, as soon as they arise.
Usually, I write them down to get them out, but not all thoughts *deserve* to be acknowledged.
