The attached chart shows traffic from the last 24 hours. All yellow spikes are recurring Tencent crawls.

Update on the Tencent crawler situation:

Identified the fingerprint (Chrome/126 on Windows NT 6.1, always from AS132203/132591/45090) and deployed a #CrowdSec scenario to auto-ban them for 90 days.

TIL As soon as you resp. your nameserver publish a new domain to DNS, the bots are coming. Immediately! Scanning for accessible configs etc. So you better not have a misconfigured webserver running for dev purposes. Never assume: No one knows the domain. #crowdsec #websec

While not in official repos yet, I’ve had a go at getting #crowdsec @crowdsec.bsky.social installed on my pfsense box and then using that as the local API for another service on a #Debian LXC registered as a collector & bouncer for the same instance.
