A Cuban tree frog peeking out of a hole in a birdhouse. The birdhouse is at the left of the photo, taking up about 2/3 of it. The other 1/3 is green background. The frog is inside the birdhouse looking out with its feet spread out and holding the birdhouse. Its head is sticking out of the hole. It doesn't have a lot of color except for its large round yellow eye on the left. The other eye is off to the side and appears to reflect green.

My three best sightings from yesterday and this morning? A #CubanTreeFrog, my first #BlueGrayGnatcatcher, (!) and a #BarredYellow butterfly. There were loads more, but not bad! And the tree frog was on the concrete patio beside me while I drank #CafeConLeche this morning! 😎

The Cuban tree frog is a highly impactful invasive species to Florida & is rapidly replacing the green tree frog. They are much larger with the largest being nearly 4" long or double the size of the green tree frog. #Floridainvasivespecies #Florida #cubantreefrog #backyardnature #frog #treefrog
