We play #dnd
Somehow me (the weirdo #leatherworker & #sadist) has become a #DMforLife.
So far, I've made my pc's scared of anthropomorphic mole mascots for a Dwarven pizza chain, groups of people chanting "meat", recordings of hyena cackling, & kids with purple scarves.
Sadism is its own reward.
Except for me instead of painting minis (though I love doing that too) it is writing out my next adventure where I torture my PCs. #DMForLife #D&D
My actual answer is that I love having to come up with all the things that happen in response to the characters actions. There have been so many times that a game went totally off the rails from what I originally planned and I love it every time.
