Ein kleiner auffälliger Laden für Bücher, Kunsthandwerk, Schmuck im Ostseebad Ahrenshoop. Entworfen 1929 vom Bauhausarchitekten Walter Butzek mit einer markanten rot-weißen Gestaltung. Das einstöckige Haus hat eine halbrunde Vorderseite, die Holzfronten sind in rot, die großen Fenster und die Tür mit weißem Rahmen. Über dem Eingang verläuft um das Haus herum eine weiße Verkleidung, darauf groß der Name in blauer Schrift: Bunte Stube. Aus dem Hausdach ragt rechts ein dicker roter Turm heraus. Es ist fast so hoch wie das Haus selber und hat ein Dach mit einer weißen Verblendung. / A small, eye-catching shop for books, arts and crafts, and jewelry in the Baltic Sea resort of Ahrenshoop. Designed in 1929 by Bauhaus architect Walter Butzek, it features a striking red and white design. The single-story house has a semicircular front, red wooden panels, and white-framed large windows and a door.
