This dog fox was involved in a fight and suffered severe facial injuries. This shot was taken after recovery. Lost the sight in his left eye but was otherwise fine.

The river runs for about 20 miles right through the city from the Pentland Hills down to the sea at the port of Leith. A green corridor for wildlife including badgers, foxes, roe deer and otters.
